Overview

This Cookie Policy explains how eGame Studio LLC, doing business as Train Lens (“Train Lens,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), uses cookies, browser storage, scripts, pixels, and similar technologies when you visit the Train Lens website.

This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on a browser or device. They can help websites operate, remember preferences, measure usage, prevent fraud, and understand how visitors interact with content.

Similar technologies include browser local storage, pixels, tags, scripts, and identifiers that perform related functions. References to “cookies” in this policy include these similar technologies where appropriate.

Some technologies are necessary for the website to operate securely. Others, including analytics and marketing technologies, are activated only after you provide the applicable consent.

Technologies we use

Consent preferences

Category: Strictly necessary
Technology: Browser local storage
Name: tl_consent_v1
Provider: Train Lens
Purpose: Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics and marketing technologies and records when your preference was saved.
Duration: Remains until you change your preferences or clear your browser storage.

This technology is necessary to remember and respect your privacy choices.

Website operation and forms

Category: Strictly necessary
Providers: Webflow and Cloudflare
Purpose: Website hosting, page delivery, form processing, security, fraud prevention, bot detection, and spam filtering.
Duration: These technologies may operate for the current session or for another limited period determined by the provider and the security function involved.

These technologies may be activated without optional consent when they are reasonably necessary to provide or secure a feature you request, such as submitting a form.

Google Analytics

Category: Analytics
Provider: Google LLC
Cookies: _ga and _ga_<container-id>
Purpose: Helps us understand website traffic, page views, traffic sources, approximate location, browser and device information, sessions, and interactions with the website.
Default duration: Up to two years, subject to browser restrictions and our Google Analytics configuration.

Google Analytics is activated only when you consent to analytics technologies. Google may process information according to its own privacy terms.

Apollo.io website visitor tracking

Category: Marketing
Provider: ZenLeads, Inc., doing business as Apollo.io
Technology: First-party cookie and related website-tracking technologies
Purpose: Helps us understand which companies may be visiting the website, which pages are viewed, and how business visitors engage with Train Lens. We use this information for business-to-business sales, marketing, and measurement.
Duration: Determined by Apollo’s technology and configuration and may change over time.

Apollo tracking is activated only when you consent to marketing technologies. Depending on available data and configuration, Apollo may process IP address, browser and device information, page-view information, engagement information, and business or firmographic information.

Train Lens does not use Apollo visitor tracking for children, unrelated consumer marketing, or recording the contents of trainee screens.

Technologies we do not currently use

Train Lens does not currently use third-party advertising-network cookies to deliver personalized consumer advertising. If this changes, we will update this policy and provide any choices required by applicable law before enabling that processing.

Managing your preferences

When you first visit the website, our consent controls allow you to accept or reject nonessential analytics and marketing technologies.

You can change your decision at any time by selecting “Cookie settings” in the website footer. Rejecting nonessential technologies will not prevent you from viewing the website or submitting a form, although certain measurement or personalization functions may be unavailable.

You can also use your browser settings to block, restrict, or delete cookies and local storage. Browser controls vary, so consult your browser’s help documentation for instructions. Clearing browser storage may remove your saved consent preference, causing the website to ask for your choices again.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before your preference was changed.

Where supported, Train Lens recognizes the Global Privacy Control signal. When this signal is detected, marketing technologies remain disabled.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when our website, providers, technologies, or legal obligations change.

The “Last updated” date at the top of the policy identifies the latest revision. If a change materially affects how nonessential technologies are used, we may provide additional notice or request consent again where required.
