When to mute your microphone

Mute your microphone when you are not speaking if your trainer asks participants to stay muted or if background noise could distract the group.

Unmute when you need to speak, then mute again afterward if that is how your session is being run.

Mute your microphone

1. Find the Mute Audio button in your Train Lens session.
2. Check its current state before using it.
3. Use the button to mute your microphone.
4. Confirm that Train Lens shows the microphone as muted.

Unmute your microphone

1. Select the Unmute Audio button while your mic is muted.
2. Confirm that the microphone indicator changes to the active state before speaking.

If Train Lens cannot use your microphone

Your browser or operating system may need permission to use the microphone. Follow only the permission prompt that appears for the current supported browser and device.
