A trainee's name is not accepted

Check the name entry

If the joining page does not accept your name, keep the page open and check any message beside the name field.

1. Make sure you have entered your name in the name field.
2. Check for typing mistakes or unwanted spaces before or after your name, especially if you pasted it.
3. Follow any name instructions shown on the page or supplied by your trainer.
4. Try continuing once more.

These are basic entry checks; a rejected name does not necessarily mean you typed it incorrectly.

If your name is still rejected

Tell the trainer exactly what the message says and which step fails. Do not keep changing your name to guess at a rule that is not shown.

If the page stops responding without a name-related message, read A trainee cannot join a session.
